We are focused on reducing the time it takes to deliver a solution for the Customer. In most cases we believe that we can save on average 60% of the time it would take the customer to develop a solution (integration or extension) from scratch.

Data Access Layer and Architecture
The DAL is at the core of every solution we deliver and is based on an Object Relational Modelling (ORM) architecture – so each solution is built upon a consistent, proven and reusable platform. To enhance this technology we have invested heavily in development tools that support Continuous Integration, Automated Testing and Configuration Control – all focused on delivering high quality solutions quickly.
The DAL enables simple and seamless integration to the Service Oriented Component Architecture (SOCA) of IFS and works across all versions. This empowers Cooper Software with the unique capability of delivering a wide variety of bespoke extensions and 3rd party integration. All Cooper Software solutions are designed and developed using our specialist technology and are reusable across all versions of IFS.
Engagement Process
Each Cooper Software engagement is consistent and we have developed a suite of document templates in order to ensure that we deliver our solutions in a compressed time frame while still maintaining a high quality delivery. Our software engagement, delivery and support processes are ISO 9001 certified.
Simplified Interfacing and Extension
Cooper Software know that one of the key challenges presented to all businesses using IFS is integration with external and 3rd party systems. Our unique solution tackles this by using a suite of reusable, industry standard adapters that are able to connect into virtually any system, database or web service available – including many legacy and specialised bespoke systems.
Upgrade and Implementation
Our Rapid Solution Delivery Software expedites IFS Upgrades and Implementations with a saving of up to 60% development time. We do this by offering alternatives to the IFS modifications in the core product. By separating the changing business functionality to keep the IFS core unchanged we reduce on-going IFS support costs and make any future upgrade less costly and more straightforward.
Optimised Performance
By utilising our Rapid Solution Delivery Software we have the unique capability of being able to monitor system transactions from the User Interface side. We can debug individual IFS transactions to identify and pinpoint problem areas.

Crucially, the solutions we provide using the DAL still retain all of the security and business rules already in place in IFS. We have also invested in establishing a world class Remote Service Desk to support the solutions we provide. Our customers are assured of having immediate access to the support if required.
