Cooper Software and IFS sign Business Partnership

Systems integration specialist, Cooper Software, and global enterprise applications company, IFS, have signed a business partnership agreement. The agreement extends the capability of IFS Applications^TM by offering unique functionality and extensions developed by Cooper Software and previously not available to IFS users. This partnership is good news for all existing and future IFS clients because Cooper Software offers technology solutions that seamlessly and securely integrate third party applications and will extend IFS via its Service Orientated Component Architecture (SOCA).

The partnership enables IFS to include Cooper Software proprietary products like the CS Barcode Application in its suite of products. This application is popular with IFS users with a need to automate warehouse, store room and shop floor transactions using handheld devices as it works alongside any version of IFS Applications^TM. The CS Barcode application will provide an innovative data capture solution for users of IFS Applications^TM to automate transactions and prevent data entry errors, utilising the latest mobile, RF and barcode technologies and in many cases reuses existing IT infrastructure and peripherals.

Additionally, Cooper Software also offers specialised IFS development and support augmentation services. These services are coupled with other assets including unique integration software for IFS and remote service desk, providing a value add technical consultancy service to IFS Applications^TM users. The partnership will also ensure that Cooper Software and IFS provide these services collaboratively to support and add additional resource depth to assist IFS implementations, upgrades and general day to day system support.
