ARMS (Artefact Management System for IFS) is our Data Migration Application that we have created to enable IFS users to transfer pockets of information between different instances, or even versions of IFS.

Synchronising Data

Using the IFS Data Migration APIs as its back end, ARMS simplifies the process of migrating and extracting data and removes the technical difficulties involved to save IFS users time and money. Working on the principal of ‘Artefacts’ – ARMS provides templates that define the migration of data. From these templates, Artefacts can be created which hold the extracted data and which can be reapplied to another IFS instance. The entire process is audited in order to record and provide reports on progress and success.
